_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#e7e7e8&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||53px|||&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dear Customer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly note that the process for updating customer code details has changed.<\/p>\n<p>You need to follow the below steps:<\/p>\n<p><strong>CUSTOMER CODE UPDATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the email of the customer code is outdated, or both email and cell phone numbers are outdated, the following steps must be followed:<\/p>\n<p>Send an email to<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:resetpassword@cipc.co.za\">resetpassword@cipc.co.za<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>and attach the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Customer update form<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Update-customer-contact-detail_Password-reset-form-v1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Customer update form\">CLICK HERE<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>to download and;<\/li>\n<li>Certified ID copy (not older than 3 months)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Important:\u00a0 The request for update must come from the new email address which will be linked to your customer code<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Company customer code<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>If the Company Secretary\/staff member who dealt with CIPC resigned and new Company Secretary\/staff member to represent the company is appointed, the following are required:<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Certified ID Copy of new Company Secretary\/client dealing with CIPC on behalf of company (Certification not older than three months)<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Certified ID Copy or Resignation Letter of Previous Company Secretary<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Affidavit by CEO\/Director\/Manager of company confirming resignation of previous customer code holder, indicating that customer code belongs to company , and not to individual<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Certified ID copy (Certification not older than three months) of CEO\/Director\/Manager who signed the affidavit and;<\/li>\n<li>Customer code update form,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Update-customer-contact-detail_Password-reset-form-v1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Customer update form\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Send all required documents via email to<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:resetpassword@cipc.co.za\">resetpassword@cipc.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Important:\u00a0 The request for update must come from the new email address which will be linked to your customer code<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have more than one customer code, with balances in both accounts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure that you only have a single active customer code, the following process must be followed to transfer funds to a single active customer code:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Send the below documents to<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:revenue@cipc.co.za\">revenue@cipc.co.za<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide a brief narrative of the issue and provide the following information and documents for the transfer of funds to the single preferred active customer code<\/li>\n<li>Preferred customer code;<\/li>\n<li>Customer name and surname; and<\/li>\n<li>Proof of deposits made into the code that you want to make dormant;<\/li>\n<li>Letter on a letterhead requesting the refund and confirming into which code it must be transferred; and<\/li>\n<li>Certified identity copy of the owner of the code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Once e-mail confirmation is received that the funds have been transferred, send an email to<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:resetpassword@cipc.co.za\">resetpassword@cipc.co.za<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>to request that the customer details be updated by sending:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified identity copy of the owner of the customer codes (certification not older than three months) and;<\/li>\n<li>Customer code update form,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Update-customer-contact-detail_Password-reset-form-v1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Customer update form\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once your email has been updated, you need to verify your customer code to continue (please refer to Notice 18 of 2024: New Customer Verification Process dated 4 March 2024).<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Downtime-Notice-Planned-Maintenance-2.pdf\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Notice_Update-Customer-code-contact-details-Apr-2024.pdf\" title=\"Update customer code details\">Notice- update customer code<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Customer Kindly note that the process for updating customer code details has changed.
